Software Engineer HTML5 / JavaScript
We are looking for experienced, talented and enthusiastic HTML5 experts. As HTML5 expert at struktur you are focusing on delivering innovative web and mobile front-ends to our customers in Germany and worldwide. With our team of software engineers and graphic designers you will also learn how to create HTML5 apps for mobile operating systems (iOS, Android). The implementation of easy-to-use front-ends with HTML, CSS and JavaScript is your passion and you are familiar with JavaScript and PHP or other programming languages.
The mayor responsibilities of the HTML5 / JavaScript engineer will be:
- Creating innovative HTML5 user interfaces
- Client-side programming in JavaScript
- Optimization of web front-ends in terms of performance and usability
- Creating web sites with content management systems
- Developing user interfaces for iPhone, iPad and Android
- Involvement in product planning
The ideal candidate will have:
- MSc/BS in Computer Science, IT or equivalent
- Expert-level knowledge in developing well architected software and web applications in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, Prototype and/or jQuery
- Open source experience
- Proficient in PHP, Python or Ruby
- Familiar with established content management systems (WordPress, TYPO3 or other)
- Open source experience
- Fluent English skills
- Organization skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
We would also highly regard:
- Experience with mobile frameworks, e.g. PhoneGap
- Design talents and experience with iOS or Android
- Table football skills 🙂
